Maui Banyan is a larger property than Maui Vista, and is set up more as a resort property. It still feels very small and intimate, but extends further inland. Building H is the third building from the ocean, which provides great access. The walk through the grounds is lovely, with fragrant flowers, sparkling fountains, and lush landscaping. It takes a brief 5 minutes to reach Kamaole II beach from #H-203, and you get to enjoy the property as you walk!
There are two pool areas at the Maui Banyan. Both the pools are very nice sized, and there are two hot tubs as well. Within each pool area you will find a gazebo area with seating, next to several very clean gas grills. The pool areas are lit at night with Tiki torches, which creates an incredible ambiance. Lots of lounge chairs are available, so come enjoy this incredible amenity! The times I have been there, the pool area has been practically empty, and the area was very quiet.
Parking is ample, and nearby. Building H is directly across from the covered parking structure, although unit #H-203 DOES NOT face the driveway or the parking lot. We are located on the quiet side, facing south. All you see from your lanai is green grass, lots of tropical trees, flowers, and this lovely fountain. All buildings have elevators for your convenience. Also for your convenience, we are fortunate to have an assigned parking space in the covered parking garage. With your reservation, you will receive the information on the assigned parking number. Big bonus!!
